Ways for people to CONNECT at Fairborn UMC:
Sunday Worship Services - Any Sunday at Fairborn UMC you can expect an atmosphere of celebration, excitement, and warmth. You will experience relevant messages you can relate to, music that is uplifting and exciting, relationships that are authentic and genuine. You and your children will want to come back for more. Pizza with the Pastor – This is a great first step towards getting connected at Fairborn UMC. Pizza with the Pastor offers us the opportunity to get to know visitors better. It gives visitors a chance to meet the staff and other newcomers over a slice of Pizza. During this time together we talk about who we are as a church, where we're going and opportunities for everyone to be a part of this exciting journey. Starting Point - Starting Point is a conversational environment where people can explore faith and experience community. Starting Point groups are a safe place for people with questions about faith, as well as those who want to learn about the Bible and Christianity. Groups meet for about 10 weeks and together explore the grand story of the Bible. One of the goals of Starting Point is to help participants find their places in the story. Connection Groups - A Connection Group is a group of 5-12 people that agree to meet on a regular basis with the goals of creating, developing and sustaining healthy, meaningful relationships. Our groups vary by interest, life stages, and location. Some groups may do Bible studies, a book or video study, while others may gather together to do other activities or projects.
