Worship Experience at Fairborn UMC

Any Sunday at Fairborn UMC you can expect an atmosphere of celebration, excitement, and warmth. You will experience relevant messages you can relate to, music that is uplifting and exciting, relationships that are authentic and genuine. You and your children will want to come back for more. There is a casual atmosphere at Fairborn UMC - you are welcome to come as you are!

We have two opportunities for you to experience our amazing God in worship, 8:00am and 11:00am. The early service, 8:00am is located in the Sanctuary and offers more of a traditional atmosphere. The later service, 11:00am is located in the Multi-Purpose Room (MPR) and offers a more relaxed atmosphere with more of a blended style to the service. During each worship service there is nursery care available for parents with children birth-2yrs, and during the 11:00am there is a separate worship experience for kids 3yrs old-5yrs in the children's wing. Whether you like more of a traditional or contemporary style, we will suit your worship needs.

What does it mean to be a relevant church?

A relevant church looks at the culture and community, examines the issues that are causing tension and questions, then asks, "What does God want?" Relevant churches always place what God wants ahead of what they feel.

Believing this, there are topics that seem to place truth and grace in tension, almost as if they were counterparts rather than inseparable companions. We encourage you to join us as we "make church relevant" and tackle the issues that often are avoided.
