Leadership
Team Thoughts

"I have found the Alpha Course to be
a non-threatening and interesting way for
all people (Christian and non-Christian,
church attender and non-attender, young and
senior) to address the basic questions of
life and explore the basics of the Christian
faith. The Alpha Course is changing
my Christ serving response from inward
to outward"
•Joanne Scheihing
"Having attended a few Alpha Courses
now, plus an Alpha Conference, I am so excited
with the possibilities that this course provides.
This is a course that speaks to all people,
regardless of where they are in their walk
of faith. Even our ãchurchedä participants
found a deeper relationship with Christ so
bringing Alpha to the community should bring
some wonderful results. This is one way that
our church can become ãfishers of
menä and bring the love of Jesus Christ
to the Fairborn community."

Alpha
is enjoyed and appreciated as much
by those who have never set foot in
a church as it is by those who once
attended and by the regular churchgoer.
No matter what their background, whether
investigating Christianity for the
first time or revisiting their faith,
participants get a lot out of an Alpha
Course. Here are some personal thoughts
of those Alpha Course participants
who are involved in our current faith-building
experience.

"Alpha was a relaxed atmosphere where we got together
to eat, sing, watch a presentation; then we divided
into small groups to discuss the topic of the week;
the leaders were wonderful and I enjoyed the opportunity
to attend. "
•Don

"After Alpha, I feel a greater sense of Jesus
and the Holy Spirit in my life. I was personally
challenged to question my faith and to examine the
limitations to my beliefs." |
