Making Church Relevant
Mission and Values

Missional Mandate:
To help others develop an intimate, passionate, growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

6 Core Values:
1. We value Children:
  • We believe that all children are created sacred and beautiful by our Holy God
  • We provide a safe environment for children of all ages
  • We provide loving care for children
  • We provide education to children and parents
  • We assist in meeting the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of a child
2. We value Relationships
  • We value each other
  • We care for each other and those who we are getting to know
  • We celebrate and grieve with each other
  • We respect diversity and celebrate uniqueness
  • We pray with and for each other
  • We live so that others may know we are Christians by our Love
3. We value the Needy
  • We have been given abundantly; we have an abundance to give
  • People should not go without food, water, shelter and love
  • The church should be a shelter for needy people
  • When we care for people’s needs, we reveal Jesus
4. We value Biblical Living
  • The Bible is not just something that is studied, but something lived out
  • The Bible teaches us how to live in a way that brings glory to God
  • The Bible contains within it God’s revelation, but only in part
5. We value Leadership
  • We believe in the impact of quality leadership
  • We believe we are called to not only lead, but to become a training site for leadership
  • We believe that each of us has been gifted by God and within our gifted areas, we are all called to lead
  • We submit to the Lordship of Christ
6. We value Pre-Christians
  • We focus our resources towards the needs and interests of people outside our church
  • We exist for those whom Jesus misses the most
  • We will have intentional interaction with pre-Christians

How will we accomplish our Mandate?
By surrendering to the Lordship of Christ
with our time, talent and treasures.
