Outreach Ministries
There are ample opportunities to serve in Fairborn St. Luke UMC's Outreach Ministries.  These opportunities include:

Doing For Others:  Make things for other according needs, e.g. lap robes for shut-ins and Greenwood Manor.  Contact person is Bev Mercer, 937-878-0576.

Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN):  The IHN is composed of nine churches in Greene County who take turns offering overnight lodging as well as morning and evening meals.  Contact person is Jeanne Wright, 937-878-5500.

Flower Steward:  This person is responsible for taking altar flowers to people identified by the office as home bound, recovering , ill, or in a nursing home.  Contact person is Bob Rae, 937-879--2141.

Lay Pastoral Care:  Many people in our church family are unable to attend church due to illness or disabilities.  God's servants are needed to visit shut-ins, contact them by phone or send cards, remember their birthdays, take food when appropriate or do things to help brighten their days.  The contact person is Ernestine Knott, 937-878-6575.

Casserole Ministry:  This ministry delivers dinner to individuals and families when someone has just returned home from the hospital, is seriously ill or has just had a new baby oris in need of tender loving care.   Your contact person is Kari Howard, 937-878-7895.
